One day a fox saw a beautiful hen and the fox wanted to take out the hen from where she lives to his own house. In the evening he puts the hen in a sack. When he travels to his house in the meantime he goes to sleep.
When he sleeps the hen gets out and puts a stone in the sack and runs away home. When the fox wakes up he continues his journey carrying a stone in the sack. When he arrives home, there is only a stone in the sack. Before he opens the sack he boils water, goes to the sack, but there was only a stone. He is angry.
ቀበሮና ዶሮ
ተራኪው የማይታወቅ
ከእለታት አንድ ቀን አንድ ቀበሮ አንዲት ቆንጆ ዶሮ አይቶ ዶሮዋን ከምትኖርበት አውጥቶ ወደቤቱ ሊወስዳት ፈለገ፡፡ በመሸ ጊዜም ዶሮዋን ከረጢት ውስጥ ከቷት ወደ ቤቱ እየተጓዘ ሳለ እንቅልፍ ያዘው፡፡
ቀበሮውም በተኛ ጊዜ ዶሮዋ ቀስ ብላ ከከረጢቱ በመውጣት ከረጢቱ ውስጥ ድንጋይ አኑራ ወደ ቤቷ እየሮጠች ሄደች፡፡ ቀበሮው ከእንቅልፉ ሲነቃ ድንጋዩን በከረጢት ተሸክሞ ጉዞውን ቀጠለ፡፡ ቤቱ ሲደርስ ግን ከረጢቱ ውስጥ ያገኘው ድንጋይ ነበር፡፡ ከረጢቱን ከመፍታቱ በፊት ግን ዶሮዋን ማብሰያ ውሃ አፍልቶ ሲያበቃ ወደ ከረጢቱ ሄዶ ሲፈታው ያገኘው ድንጋይ በመሆኑ በጣም ተናደደ፡፡
