Sidama Zone
 Stories from Sidama were collected during sessions in Awassa in February 1997 with the support of the Regional Educational Bureau in Awassa under the auspices of Ato Aklilu. They were translated from Amharic into English by Michael Ambatchew of the British Council. 
Sidama house near Awassa All the stories were narrated by Abebe Kebede. Versions of some of these stories were told elsewhere in Ethiopia, but Ato Abebe's were exceptionally well-rounded and display his considerable craft as a storyteller. Contents:
