A wizard told a man, “When you reach a river you will marry the first woman you meet. She will have a k’ib (gourd) and scoop water with it. Don’t greet her. But simply ask her to give you the gourd and drink a little from it.”
A woman came and he asked for a draught of water. He drank and went on. He went to her house and said, “I’ve come to marry you.”
“How? Why?”
“Because the wizard told me.”
And so they married each other.
